BRC/IoP hygiene standard

Certification was concluded on 30 July 2013. The safety of our food is also influenced by its packaging. Folding cartons must therefore satisfy high demands. This is particularly true of folding cartons in the food sector. To meet these high demands, Leopold Verpackungen has a comprehensive quality and hygiene management system.

Our company is therefore certified to the BRC/IoP hygiene management standard. The BRC/IoP has the highest possible classification of all packaging standards for food packaging. It includes requirements for general quality management such as documentation, internal audits, traceability, hygiene of systems and operating environments, personnel and also for preventing contamination. The basis of these are comprehensive and documented hazard and risk analyses that are geared to the special requirements of packaging materials. As we work in compliance with HACCP directives, we can guarantee maximum cleanliness as well as product safety for our production facilities and therefore your products by implementing selective measures.
